Copper Harbor

ASTOR HOUSE ANTIQUE DOLL, TOY & INDIAN ARTIFACT MUSEUM :
At the Minnetonka Resort. 289-4449. Other local collections include rock & mineral specimens, mining memorabilia, shipwreck items, bottles & insulators, tools & lanterns. Open daily Jun. thru mid-Oct. 9 am - 6 pm.

BROCKWAY MOUNTAIN DRIVE:
M-26 between Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor. The 9 1/2 mile seasonal drive is the highest above-sea-level drive between the Rockies & Alleghenies. Breathtaking view of Lake Superior and thousands of acres of the Keweenaw.

COPPER HARBOR LIGHTHOUSE TOUR BY BOAT:
Copper Harbor Marina. 289-4966. Daily trips Memorial Day thru mid - October. Adults $14.00, children $9.00. Short boat ride takes you to one of the oldest lighthouses on Lake Superior and includes a 90 minute guided tour of the lighthouse, maritime museum & historic walking trails. 2 hour sunset cruises also available.

FORT WILKINS STATE PARK / MICHIGAN HISTORICAL MUSEUM FIELD SITE:
289-4215. Open May 14 - Oct.11. Museum open daily 8 am to dusk; Living History Program runs daily 9:30 am - 5 pm July & Aug. Evening Programs in July & August.

ISLE ROYALE QUEEN V EVENING CRUISES:
289-4437. Nightly 1 1/2 hour sunset cruise (weather permitting) at 8:30 pm. daily from July 4 to Labor Day. Adults and children's fares.

KEWEENAW ADVENTURE COMPANY, LLC:
145 Gratiot Street. 289-4303. Sea kayak tours, lessons and rentals. Daily tours in Copper Harbor - No experience needed! Full day & half day tours to various Keweenaw locations and overnight tours on Isle Royale. Michigan's northern-most bike shop. Bicycle rentals, service, parts, maps & trail info. Mountain bike tours & weekly group rides. Open Memorial Day weekend to mid-October.

OUR LADY OF THE PINES CHURCH:
1st Street. Mid-June thru September. Services in summer. Open daily to visitors. A unique, secluded church made entirely of pine logs. The candlesticks & baptismal fonts are hand-crafted from pine.
